Peugeot was presented by the perfect car
In Beijing, Peugeot introduced the Urban Crossover Concept at the Auto Show. With the help of this concept, the French manufacturer demonstrates the direction that will be the main in the development of the company for the long term.
The design of the future machine was implemented by designers from various countries. The priority task for them was to create an ideal city car. I must admit that they really succeeded – the concept of kar has a very attractive appearance: sports, daring and at the same time sophisticated and elegant, in the style of Peugeot.
The exterior resembles the most generation of Peugeot 208. In general, the design of the concept was made in a completely new Peugeot style, which has already been reflected in models 508 and 208. An interesting feature of the prototype is the original roof of Double Bubble, which first appeared in the PEUGEOT RCZ compartment.
In Peugeot, when creating the concept of a new model, they proceeded from the fact that more than 5.4 billion inhabitants of the Earth would live in urban agglomerations by 2050. Therefore, Peugeot Urban Crossover was created for movement in big cities. In support of this fact – modest dimensions of the car: width – 1.74 m, length – 4.14 m. As the developers say, Urban Crossover will feel great not only in urban conditions, but also on light off -road and high -speed highway.
Peugeot makes a very large rate on sales in the field of city crossovers. Inspired by the success of the 3008 model (about 368,000 sold worldwide), the French are putting a lot of effort into creating a universal car that could combine important consumer properties such as compactness, maneuverability, functionality, cross-country ability and design.
