by sellrentcars

The Japanese company Suzuki showed the first official images of its latest crossover, the world premiere of which is scheduled for the Geneva auto exhibition. The car is a serial version of the S-CROSS concept demonstrated in Paris.

As follows from the company’s messages, the car “C class” C “car already prepared for the serial production will be presented. The company’s management promises that the internal interior of the novelty will be roomy and spacious, and the luggage compartment will be the largest of the representatives of the crossover segment.

The technical side so far “under the veil”. It is only known the machine will be equipped with a branded all -wheel drive system. Unfortunately, there is no information about the power plants. It is only known that the S-Cross will definitely be larger than the current generation SX4. Note that the length of the crossover will be 4,310 mm, which is almost 160 mm longer than that of the SX4. The width of the Cross model in relation to the serial crossover has increased by 85 mm. By the way, it is curious that the car, on the contrary, has decreased in height, and therefore it can be assumed that the serial version of the concept may well occupy a niche in the company’s lineup – between the SX4 and the off-road flagship Grand Vitara.

Some time ago, there were suggestions that the Suzuki S-Cross would appear on the Russian market by the end of this year. More detailed information will be made public very soon – as part of the Geneva Motor Show, which is due to open on March 5. It should be noted that the official name for the “serial” is also still a secret. Representatives of the company do not confirm the fact that the finished car will receive the same specification as the concept.
